Welcome to Grosse Pointe South TV Production 2021-22
The Television Production program has become one of the most technology rich elective courses in the Grosse Pointe High Schools dating back to 1988. TV has been one of many CTE programs in our district for the last five years. OneGP Virtual, North and South Television programs combined offer 20 sections, this year serving over 200 students just at South.
The eight levels of Television production will offer a creative outlet while learning the fundamentals of broadcasting. Students will have the opportunity to master current television technologies and learn through hands-on experiences with a career-based focus.
This year we are going to use Schoology and Google Classroom for assignments, quizzes, collaborating and turning in video projects. Video assignments will ONLY be graded in Google Classroom. Your completed videos can be uploaded through your account and will show up in the assignment folder as Turned In. Quizzes and evaluation forms will be assigned periodically through the semester. Once the assignment has been turned in, a grade and feedback will be provided.
