Creating a Short Film
A short film that contains a Beginning, Middle and End. The film usually has a theme. The objective of this assignment is to use the visual and storytelling techniques practiced during the course of the semester. The challenge will be to compress the story into several minutes while using many interesting and compelling shots and angles.
Requirements:
- Signed up on Project Signup – No more than 4 members
- Must be no more than 5 minutes before credits
- The film must have a beginning, middle, and end. It is possible!! Follow a characters journey!
- Technical requirements: Make sure lighting and sound are good. Use a microphone if dialogue is used
- Must utilize a digital tools – Osmo, GoPro, or Drone
- Make sure to appropriate locations to tell your story. Multiple angles. Your video most likely will not be told in one shot and angle. Use wide, medium, medium close-up, close-up, extreme close-up, POV, and high/low angles
- Use WeVideo for background music
- Include end credits to the production
- Finish VIDEO and Submit to Schoology
- Any editing program can be used for editing
